Ever wish you had more space in your tank..?

Tight squeeze

Fitted with BRAUDE Polaris heaters, the ELECTROJET external electric tank heater is designed to stand next to the process tank leaving more space in your tank.061447_Braude_electrojet

  • Fitted with PTFE electric elements housed in a cylinder 900mm high x 400mm diameter, using corrosion resistant polymers throughout the construction
  • Will not corrode in acid process solution
  • Free standing and easy to fit to existing tanks
  • Ratings from 3kW to 24kW available
  • Can be supplied separately or complete with pumps and controller to suit your application
  • Existing pumps (such as filter pumps), and temperature control systems can be used
  • Recirculation of liquid through the ELECTROJET helps to ensure efficient heat transfer and assists in smoothing temperature distribution through the heated tank
  • Maintenance can be carried out without disturbing or emptying process chemicals

The heater has been developed for use with the aggressive and corrosive chemicals typically found in the electroplating, metal finishing, steel and chemical industries, and is ideal for chemical processes and reactors, electroplating tanks and acid pickling.  Tanks, where space is at a premium, of awkward shape or construction for fitting internal heaters or containing other equipment such as mixers, will all benefit from the use of ELECTROJET.

BRAUDE, who have many years experience of solving the problems associated with highly corrosive solutions, also manufacture the Polaris range of non-corrodable electric immersion heaters, Thermaster and Levelmaster controllers, and Nautilus and Jet Stream heat exchangers for larger applications.

Introducing our Levelmaster Liquid Level Controller…

Hi-Low level indicator device

Ok… our Levelmaster Liquid Level Controller is a little bit more sophisticated than this, but it relies on a similar principle…

The Braude Levelmaster Liquid Level Controller has been specifically designed for use, not just in water but also for use in corrosive chemical applications found in harsh industrial environments.

Thermaster Controller & Probe set
Braude Levelmaster Liquid Level Controller and Probe

Designed for surface mounting near the process liquid, providing a clear indication of the tank liquid level, the Levelmaster is typically used in chemical process areas which could have a fume and moisture laden atmosphere. The sturdy housing has a clear cover, sealed to IP65, and complies with the current regulations for electrical equipment. Alternatively, it can be used externally – for example in a storage tank farm.

All Braude Master range of controllers are fitted with flying leads for ease of connection to the power supply and are supplied complete with probes, which also have a flying lead and simple plug in connection to the controller. The probes are designed to be mounted within the process or storage tank and their polymer construction enables use in a wide range of aggressive or aqueous liquids. Probes are supplied 0.5 metres long as standard but lengths up to 8 metres can be manufactured to suit larger tanks.

  • Probe has no moving parts
  • High sensitivity version available for deionised water or soft water areas
  • High level only, low level only or dual operation
  • Low voltage AC detection circuit
  • Suitable for most aqueous or conductive solutions
  • Easy setting of control height
  • Suitable for any vessel: steel, polymer, fibreglass, etc.
  • HPD version available for use with Polaris heaters

The Levelmaster controller is available for either 240v or 110v power supplies and can be provided with live or volt free relays. The Braude Master range is fully compatible with the Polaris electric immersion heaters and self-priming chemical transfer pumps, also manufactured by Braude.60years_72

Made in Great Britain for 60 years

On 2nd April 1957, AFC Roberts piloted the British made Short SC1 on its first flight. Using five Rolls Royce RB 108 jet engines, it was the first British fixed-wing VTOL which lead to the development of the Hawker Siddeley Harrier…

1957 also saw the launch of E. Braude (London) Ltd by Erich Braude, a London-based trader in steel stocks. In 1973 Dan Welsby, a successful stainless steel tube manufacturer purchased E. Braude (London) Ltd and under his guidance, Braude moved to its current site in Sandhurst, Berkshire. The company became a distributor of chemical pumps and Teflon heat exchangers to the steel and metal finishing industries.

The company moved into manufacture and the Nautilus Teflon Heat Exchanger was introduced; a product which could withstand the demands of highly corrosive liquids used in the steel and metal finishing industries, and for which Braude became well known. In the subsequent years, more products were designed and developed including the Polaris Electric Immersion Heater and the Jet Stream external tank heating system for corrosive liquids. This earned a reputation for Braude as being thermal process equipment specialists, in particular when it comes to the heating and cooling of highly corrosive liquids.

In 2009 David Snoxhill and Carlos Avila took over Braude with the objective of expanding the range of heaters, heat exchangers, controllers and pumps to be able to meet all the needs of their customers and continued its growth, especially across the overseas, Indian and the Far Eastern markets.

Following a successful 2016, the acquisition of Braude by Heatrod Elements Ltd, a member of the Backer Group, part of the Nibe Elements division of Nibe Industries AG, further enhanced the company’s product range and assured the future of E. Braude(London) Ltd.

To this day, Braude continues to design, develop, and manufacture its products in Sandhurst, Berkshire, UK, ensuring the highest standards of British Made Quality across its product range which is used worldwide by industries such as Steel strip manufacturers, Wire & Tube, Metal Finishers & Galvanising as well as the Aerospace Industry.
